Soul is the answer

When mind and heart persist in defending their opposing opinions, a leader should always appeal to his soul. Everyone has one, and it's free.

They are those instants when intelligence and emotions fight tirelessly within our being. Moments in which we need an additional vitamin, a special fuel, youthful energy, or a childish illusion to face the daily events that appear in our business way.

Too bad leaders don't use their souls much more. Maybe because they do not know where it is, how to address it, or simply no one has told them that soul is also a utility value in our workplaces.

The soul is impartial, tolerant, and inclusive; knowledge and feelings are not always. It is closer to morality and conscience than intelligence and emotions are. In addition, souls and workplaces are perfectly compatible.

The only requirement is that it takes some more time to talk to the soul than to the brain or the heart, and we already know that time is an extremely scarce commodity in our work.

However, believe it, there are many more soulmates than like-minded managers.

When I see managers dialogue with their souls in mind, I am sure they will agree. For those who still don't, we are here to help them.
